The large housing block is situated along one of the main roads of Jätkäsaari, Välimerenkatu. The block consists of two large volumes of 8-storey apartment buildings. The ground floors are reserved for commercial premises. The block was originally conceived for the Low2No architecture competition in 2009 as a new community dedicated to sustainable living. The project encountered many changes along the way but preserved many of its aims of urbanism. The block was constructed in 2016–2018.

The project was conceived by Sauerbruch Hutton Architects together with Optiplan Architects. The Sauerbruch Hutton team responsible for the architecture included architects Matthias Sauerbruch, Louisa Hutton, Juan Lucas Young and Carlos Alarcón Allen. The chief designer of the housing block was Jari Antila of Optiplan Architects, assisted by architects Juha Vihma, Samu Virkki, Julius Jääskeläinen, Anne Viisteensaari and Katariina Kosonen.
