The Biennial Review of Finnish Architecture offers a view to topical phenomena and high-quality examples of contemporary Finnish architecture. The exhibition is jointly organised by the Museum of Finnish Architecture (MFA), Finnish Association of Architects (SAFA) and Alvar Aalto Foundation.
The Biennial Review 2020 jury consists of Ph.D., architect Martin Braathen of the National Museum of Norway, D.Sc.(Tech.), architect Harri Hautajärvi and architect Kirsi Korhonen.
This year the jury selected 15 projects that demonstrate quality as a whole. The projects are characterised by creative and high-quality architecture, well thought-out relationship with the surroundings, functionality and ecological and sustainable criteria.
The premiere of the exhibition will be at the Museum of Finnish Architecture from 4 September 2020 to 28 February 2021. The exhibition is accompanied by a publication.
