The 2016 Biennial Review spotlights 15 projects that represent new thinking in Finnish architecture. The Review is organised by the Alvar Aalto Museum, the Finnish Association of Architects and the Museum of Finnish Architecture.
The selected projects have been curated by a jury chaired by Ole Bouman, Director of the Shekou Design Museum. His fellow jury members have been architects Sirkkaliisa Jetsonen and Hilla Rudanko. Expert input has been additionally provided by Helena Soimakallio, Managing Director and CEO at the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers.
The 2016 Biennial Review exhibition designed by Philip Tidwell was on display at the Museum of Finnish Architecture between 15 June and 2 October, 2016.
